5 Best tips to speed up desktop or laptop performance

 Why is my computer suddenly so slow? | Hello guys, if you are using a desktop or laptop and you are not happy with the performance of your desktop or laptop, today I am going to tell you some tricks. When your desktop or laptop hangs or slow down, we will see how to improve its performance.

      So today I am going to tell you 5 tricks or 5 windows setting which you can use to improve the performance of your desktop or laptop. As you know, as your desktop or laptop gets older, its performance also decreases. The speed of a new desktop or laptop is fast but as your desktop or laptop gets older, its performance also decreases so your desktop or laptop  hangs or slows down. All these are due to the files or folders in your desktop or laptop.

That is why today i am going to tell you about 5 windows setting which will enhance the performance of your desktop or laptop.

1.Disable unwanted startup programs: 

           As you know, when you start a computer or laptop, some applications in your computer automatically activated with the computer. Even if you do not use this applications , they will start automatically. These applications starts on the computer background so it loads on your computer and computer hangs or slows down. You can disable all these unwanted startup programs.

           First you can right click on the task bar and go to task manager.

          Then go to startup in the task manager. You can see some unwanted applications running on the computer background. So you can select these programs which is unwanted and disable it. Because these applications run in the background as they bring loads on CPU and RAM of your computer so your computer slows down. I suggest you don't disable Microsoft or anti-virus applications.

2.System Performance: 

               

               Second tip is system performance. Using this feature you can improve your computer performance.

               First go to windows search box and search control panel.

               Then go to system.

                 Then go to advanced system settings(numbered as 1), then go to setting(numbered as 2), then you can jump in the performance options. By default first option is selected(let windows choose what's best for my computer), so you can select the second option(adjust for best appearance)(numbered as 3). After that click on apply(numbered as 4) and then click on OK(numbered as 5).This tip will also help to increase your computer performance.

3.De fragment and optimize drives:

        This option can speed up the computer bit more. Let see the procedure.

        First go to windows search box and search de fragment and optimize drives and click on this option.

        Then you can see the window like below. Then you can select c drive and click on optimize. This way you can speed up your computer by optimizing the c drive.

  4.Delete temp files:

           Your computer contains temporary files that you don't delete, so your computer also slow down. You can increase the speed of your computer by deleting those temporary files. Lets see how we can delete such temporary files.

            Press the window+R key simultaneously. This will open the run window. In this run window you can type " %temp% "  then press enter. Then select all files (ctrl+a) and delete it.

                Now again open the run window(window+R) and type " temp ", press enter. Then select all files (ctrl+a) and delete it.

                   Again open the run window(window+R) and type " prefetch " , press enter. It will ask "you don't currently have permission to access this folder" then you can simply click on continue. Then select all files(ctrl+a) and delete it. This tip is very important to increase the speed of your computer.

5.Disk clean up:

             Your computer's drive contains some unnecessary files that we do not delete. Disk can clean up and delete all those files. This will also improve the performance of the computer. Lets see how to do this.

             First go to C drive in my computer. Then right click on c drive and click on properties then click on disk cleanup.

                   After that clean up system files. Like this you can clean up your disk.
